Fall is Here!

Fall is officially here in upstate NY! It is my favorite season here. The leaves are just starting to change and there is a briskness in the air. Time to go apple picking at one of the local apple farms. Time to get our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. Hay rides, cider and doughnuts, bonfires, etc.. I love it!

As soon as the first few leaves fell from the trees, the girls were ready to rake them up into a pile to jump in. This past weekend the weather was beautiful and we did some work in the yard. The girls got the rakes out and started their pile. There aren't that many leaves so the pile was not huge by any means, but big enough for them to jump in. They had a blast!

It is officially fall here, but this weekend is supposed to be 75 degrees and full sun! Of course right after I put away all of the girls spring/summer clothes. Oh well. We will gladly enjoy the sun while it lasts!
