Halloween at Church

I know this is a little late but thought I would share anyway. On Halloween we usually go to my parents house and carve and paint pumpkins and the girls dress up etc... Mom dad have been very busy lately and weren't up to doing a the whole pumpkin, painting, carving, roasting seeds etc..so we decided to go to our church function. The girls LOVED it! They had 200 cars in the parking lot with trunks full of candy. The girls got to dress up and go from car to car filling up their candy bags. They also had probably 8 huge bounce houses set up, fresh kettle corn they were making, and cider and doughnuts inside. The girls were SO excited about all of the candy and had lots of fun dressing up. Mattie was a cowgirl and Morgan was a ballerina. They both looked adorable!
The next morning they poured out their candy bags and organized all of their candy. All the candy bars were in one pile, then all of the suckers in another, then all of the gum in another etc.. Then they proceeded to have a trading session. They probably sat there for 45 minutes at least organizing and trading their candy (and eating some as well). Now their shopping bags have been reduced to zip lock baggies. Even this morning they got their candy bags out and did some trading before school. Too cute!
